Jewellery and watches were among HK$1.47 million worth of goods stolen from a Tung Chung resident earlier this week.
The 57-year-old man living at modern residential complex The Visionary, discovered the robbery upon returning to his apartment on Tuesday morning (March 13).
Police were called to the scene at around 10am yesterday by the male occupant.
This incident is the tenth household break-in in the last few days with other incidents taking place in Causeway Bay, Happy Valley, Kowloon City and Kowloon Tong.
Investigation remains ongoing as to whether a syndicate is responsible for the crimes. No arrests have been made.
According to the Hong Kong Police Force, there were 1,872 cases of burglary in the city last year.
