Monkey Bread



Serves 8


510g buttermilk biscuits

200g granulated sugar

3tsp cinnamon

225g butter

100g brown sugar


Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Put the granulated sugar and cinnamon into a zip-top bag and shake to combine. Add the biscuit quarters and shake some more. Spread these nuggets out evenly in a Bundt pan.


Next, melt the butter together with the brown sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Once combined, pour it over the biscuits. Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes until the crust is a deep dark brown on top. Remove it from the oven. Allow the monkey bread to cool for about 15 to 30 minutes before turning it over onto a plate.
