Relaxing Resort Enclave on Lantau Island
Discovery Bay is a laid-back resort enclave on the east coast of Lantau Island. The relaxed lifestyle is exceptional and far removed from the hectic buzz of Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. The first thing visitors notice is the lack of noise. There are no private cars allowed which creates a calm, almost bucolic atmosphere. Residents and visitors get around by bus, golf cart or bicycle. The town is accessible by bus, ferry or taxi (to DB North Plaza only).

There are green spaces everywhere in DB which makes it ideal for those who love the outdoors. The options for hiking are endless and there’s the option to climb DB Lookout for sublime views across the South China Sea. Ideal for sports enthusiasts, DB boasts an excellent 27-hole golf course, a marina, a boat club and an ice rink, plus three glorious beaches (one man-made).

One of the Most Ethnically Diverse Places
Home to some 20,000 residents, DB is one of the most ethnically diverse places in the SAR. The housing options are equally varied, combining luxury stand-alone houses with high- and low-rise flats of all sizes. Community life centres on the two plazas each of which are lined with upscale restaurants and shops. And families are well-catered to since there are schooling options for children of kindergarten age right through to secondary.
