DB Pirates

DB Pirates is the largest sports club on Lantau Island and one of the largest in Hong Kong, offering rugby, netball, hockey and dragon boating across a wide range of age groups.

Established for over 13 years, DB Pirates was originally formed as a minis rugby club and has since grown its rugby membership base to include teams from U6 to senior level. Its teams compete throughout the season in tournaments across Hong Kong and it has a strong connection with Hong Kong Scottish to further develop its youth players.

Additionally, DB Pirates boasts a strong netball division (U10 to competitive ladies’ teams in Division 1 through to Division 7) and mini and youth hockey.

With its own boat moored at DBMC, DB Pirates Dragon Boat offers the most flexible and convenient dragon boat training times in DB.

DB Pirates is known for its strong sense of community and a commitment to members, with a focus on creating a positive team environment, a passion towards training and playing, and encouragement and support to its players. It holds numerous social events and training camps throughout the year to develop its players and support the community.
