Hailey Shin opened Gallery Jeeum, Discovery Bay’s first art gallery, in DB Plaza in February 2020, with no clear idea of what the pandemic might bring. She set out to create a bridge between art and the community – a much needed cultural hub – and DBers have responded enthusiastically.
