Three yellow ambulances are now on an eight-month trial in Hong Kong.
The Fire Services Department has said that the yellow will bring greater visibility on roads for drivers to make way during emergencies.
The upgraded vehicles are designed for stretchers to be set in the middle, allowing paramedics to treat patients more effectively with easier access.
Equipment can now also be accessed from the outside of the ambulance, allowing medical personnel to treat the injured with greater efficiency.
The vibrant yellow vehicles could potentially become the standard for ambulances across Hong Kong.
With the new additions, there are currently 381 ambulances in Hong Kong.
