Hike for FREEDOM Challenge

Lantau Residents Jo Lodder & Catherine Cormack are doing their hardest challenge, HIKING FOR FREEDOM to STOP human & animal ABUSE, a 4 day challenge (25th – 28th March). Covering a distance of 300km with 18,600m of elevation to help rescue trafficked humans and abandoned animals. This is the equivalent of climbing Everest, Kilimanjaro & The Eiger in just 4 days!

They aim to not just finish, but in the process raise at least HK$100,000 for Hong Kong charities: Stop Trafficking Of People (STOP), & Tails Lantau.

Their route will be covering most of Hong Kong, New Territories and Lantau which includes Sai Kung area – on all the 4 main trails of MacLehose 100km, Wilson 78km, Hong Kong 50km and Lantau 73km.
