DBIS WELCOMES NEW HEAD OF SCHOOL

Discovery Bay International School (DBIS) is excited to welcome Marc Morris as its new Head of School this January. Taking over from former head Stuart Bridge, who expertly guided the school for three and a half years, Marc joins DBIS from Jumeirah College, Dubai, bringing with him 40 years’ experience in the education sector.

Originally from the UK, Marc is no stranger to Hong Kong, having previously spent six years as Principal of Sha Tin College. With a resume that includes headteacher roles in the UK and Asia as well as three years as Chief Education Officer for Dulwich College International, Marc has a track record of academic excellence. Furthermore, Marc’s approach to teaching and learning aligns perfectly with the DBIS ethos, which holds holistic education at its core.

An experienced World Challenge expedition leader, youth centre leader and climbing coach, Marc also has a keen interest in music and is a strong advocate for extracurricular activities, an area which DBIS includes in school fees and excels in.

Marc joins DBIS as the school celebrates its 40th anniversary, a milestone that is set to be celebrated with a glittering ball at Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong on February 11. Tickets for the event are now on sale, with early bird prices available until January 6.
