Discovery College students raise HK$3,544 for Hong Kong Shark Foundation

Posted in : News on by : Around DB Comments: 0

Year 6 students at Discovery College showed their environmental credentials recently by raising HK$3,544 in support of the Hong Kong Shark Foundation.

The students raised the money by holding a bake sale in DB Plaza, with the support of their parents. They were inspired after attending Kowloon Junior School’s Agents of Change day, where over 900 Year 6 ESF students gathered to hear presentations from NGOs.

Huge congratulations to George Heggie, Joshua Winklemann, Hunter Clausen, Nick Broomfield, Maia Prasad, Isla Han, Charlie Harris, Julie Von Der Luehe and Jasmine Dean for this great achievement!

The students’ donation will go towards the shark conservation cause in Hong Kong. To learn more about the Hong Kong Shark Foundation, visit http://hksharkfoundation.org/.
