Circular City has won an innovation award for its Choose: Reuse reusable smartcup scheme in the open group category of Hong Kong’s City I&T Grand Challenge. The Choose: Reuse pilot scheme started in DB last summer partnered with Uncle Russ Coffee/ Pier Bar, Hemingway’s and Plastic Free Seas, and it’s been extended to include Uncle Russ in DB North Plaza. The scheme has already seen over 3,300 cups borrowed (and saved from landfill) at Pier Bar DB and Uncle Russ’ Central ferry pier 3 locations.
