Considering a Boarding School Education?

Posted in : Guest Blogs on by : Around DB , Comments: 0

Time is of theEssence…

When we look at our children running around playing, it is hard to see them as teenagers or think about the sort of future education that will suit them.

Will they be a high-flyer who will thrive in an academically pressurised environment or will they do better in a smaller school with more individual attention?
Will they be passionate about sports or will they take to the stage? By thinking about these things early you can find the right school for your child. By starting the process early and allowing plenty of time to get a really good feel for the schools you are giving yourself and your child the reassurance of making an informed choice.

A boarding school education is a huge investment and although logistically visiting the UK can be difficult, taking the opportunity to visit schools and meet the staff is an important part of the process. You wouldn’t consider buying a house without having a really good look around and choosing a school can be similar thought process. What looks good on paper may not necessarily feel right when you actually get there and the one you were not so keen on may turn out to be the perfect fit.

Giving yourself time and asking for help and advice is the first step towards providing your child with the best education you can.
