Have a look at a few cool ways to keep your kids entertained over Christmas break. From from arts and crafts workshops to outdoor adventures, Lantau has it to offer!


Bayview House of Children (December 16-20)
Bayview House of Children provides one week of Christmas fun for children aged three to six in DB North Plaza. Held in the mornings, the creative programme includes arts and crafts, musical movement, science and cookery. This camp is three hours drop-off from 8.45am to 11.45am.

HappyNews (Porcelarts: December 14, 15 & 21) (Lego® Education: December 18-21, 23-24, 27-28 & 30-31)
Kids can get creative at HappyNews-EDU with the Porcelarts and Christmas-themedLego® Education programme at DB North Plaza. In the Porcelarts class, kids aged five and up decorate white porcelain to make their own one-of-a-kind tableware. In the Lego® Education programme, kids aged four to nine, explore their creativity and develop their storytelling skills by creating their own short film and programming their own Lego® model.

Ark Eden (December 16-20, & 23-24)
Ark Eden’s Christmas camps are all about facilitating a connection between children and the natural world. On a secluded hillside in Mui Wo, Ark Eden offers a unique setting for children, aged five to 11, to explore an organic, wild environment in safety. Christmas Camp themes include campfire cooking with the Grinch, making sustainable gifts in Santa’s Treehouse and the Ark Eden Winter Olympics.

Dr. Bear Education Centre (Christmas and beyond)
Dr Bear Education Centre’s Christmas immersive Mandarin camp in DB North Plaza provides a relaxing and joyful learning environment for kids aged two years and above. Classroom-based learning includes topics such as Christmas, winter, travelling and the New Year.

Mandarin for Munchkins (December 16-20 & December 30-January 3)
The nine-day Yifan Mandarin for Munchkins Mandarin Immersion Christmas Camp at DB North Plaza is designed for children, aged three to seven, who enjoy hands-on activities. In the first week, kids focus on the five senses, one sense per day, and the theme for the second week is STEM in Mandarin. Children are taught to create and invent, while speaking Mandarin.

DBees (Christmas and beyond)
Non-profit DB community-based icehockey team the DBees offers year-round coaching for girls and boys of all skill levels, aged five years and up. With DB Ice Rink opening in early 2020, the DBees are looking for more participation from the community – players, coaches and support volunteers. Join the team now to participate in the 2020 season.

ESF (December 17-20)
It doesn’t matter if you are an ESF student or not, ESF Winter Sports Clinics and Multi Sports Camps are now open to everyone. Kids aged two years and up experience a variety of energetic and challenging sports activities combined with competitive games. DB camps are held at Discovery College.

Hong Kong Dragons Football Club (December 16-20, 30- 31, & January 2-3)
HK Dragons Football Club’s Christmas and New Year camps at DB North Plaza pitch are suitable for children aged four years and up in the following divisions: Little Dragons (U4 to U5), Junior Dragons (U6 to U8) and Senior Dragons (U9 and up). At the winter camps, children develop their technique, improve their skills and play matches in a fun and safe environment.

Kapuhala Social Training Space (December 16-20)
Kids, aged five to nine years, can enjoy an active break with friends at the Kapuhala Kids Christmas Camp in DB North Plaza. Treasure Island (January 18-22, 22-25, 25-29, & January 29-February 1)
Treasure Island is holding winter snowboarding camps at Hakuba in Nagano, Japan. Hakuba comprises nine resorts stretched across a broad valley in Japan’s Northern Alps, and provides more terrain, vertical rise and advanced ski and snowboarding slopes than anywhere in Japan. Family packages are available, in addition to individual packages for kids aged eight to 16.
