Two Caribbean Coast homes in Tung Chung were broken into over the weekend, with a 48-year-old resident losing valuables worth up to HK$430,000.
The first incident took place on Friday evening (March 16) when a resident reported jewellery and watches missing. Following a preliminary investigation, police suspect that the thieves gained entry from the roof of the low-rise home.
The second incident took place on Saturday afternoon (March 17), when a 64-year-old female reported a break-in. No items had been stolen.
The incidents come just days after a burglary at Tung Chung residential complex The Visionary, where HK$1.47 million worth of goods were stolen. Read more on the previous incidents at https://goo.gl/6ciXbw.
