With anticipation mounting for tomorrow’s The BIG Picnic, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know to get yourself all set for the BIG day.

As in previous years, there will be four stages: two on the beach and two in DB Plaza. Things kick off in the plaza at 10.45 on the Dance Stage, with the DBIS bands opening the show on the Plaza Stage at 11.15am.

Over on the beach, the first act on the main Beach Stage is Rebellion at 1pm, while the action on the Acoustic Stage starts at 1.30pm with Signal 8.

Here’s the line-up in full:

Also on the beach is the Kids Zone, ready to keep younger festival goers entertained with facepainting, bouncy castles, toys and a temporary tattoo studio.

Of course, lazing around listening to top-notch music and hanging out with friends can be thirsty work, so be sure to stop by the BIG Picnic Bars on the beach and in DB Plaza. Adding a nice local twist this year is the Discovery Bay Pale Ale, a craft beer that has been specially made for the day by the Yardley Brothers.

In addition to the bar, food tents on the beach will be serving up delicious grub to keep you going throughout the day. On the savoury side, you can enjoy treats from Pizza Express, Golden Pig, and Three Blind Mice, while a candy store and La Creperie will be there to cater to those with a sweet tooth. And of course, D’Deck is only a stone’s throw away if you fancy a sit-down meal.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the Handmade Hong Kong market will be in town to satisfy your shopping needs!

So, head on down to Tai Pak Wan beach and DB Plaza tomorrow, and if you haven’t already, buy a wristband when you arrive to enjoy great discounts on food, drink and merchandise throughout the day.

We’ll see you down there!
