Discovery Bay Transport Services Ltd (DBTSL) is introducing ten brand new Euro 5 and two Euro 6 MAN single-deck buses to its fleet this summer. The new vehicles, being introduced to enhance the town’s bus service and provide a more comfortable journey for passengers, will come into service once the government procedures of vehicle examination and licensing are complete.
With bodies manufactured in Switzerland and assembled in Malaysia, the twelve new buses will be deployed to replace the current single-door and aging buses running on some of the internal and external routes, including the T4, T9, DB01R and DB03P.
The new buses will bring the emissions standard of 80% of the entire DB bus fleet to a very high level of Euro 5 or above, helping to bring about a greener DB.
