An informal community meeting will be held on Friday by the Safer Cycling on Lantau group.

Tung Chung resident Jim Benson said the meeting was to allow the community to discuss cycling facilities and infrastructure on Lantau.

It was also a chance to consider the new developments going ahead, such as in Tung Chung, and their implications for cyclists.

Jim said the group formed a few months ago and was holding the meeting to gauge the community’s needs when it came to cycling and how the group could facilitate them.

The meeting will be held at 8pm on Friday, September 25 at the Coastal Skyline Privilege Club, 12 Tung Chung Waterfront Road, Tung Chung. Please call Jim on 6272 2375 upon arrival to access the meeting.

If taking the MTR, Coastal Skyline is about 10 minutes walk east through the shopping mall from Tung Chung MTR station.
