Man attacked by python in Sai Kung Country Park

Posted in : News on by : Around DB Comments: 0

A British man had a close call this week when he was attacked by a 3.5-metre python while out walking in Sai Kung Country Park.

The incident, which happened on June 13, is the latest in a string of python attacks on the trail over recent years. While previous attacks have all been on pets, this is the first attack on a human.

The South China Morning Post reported that the man sustained injuries to his leg and finger. They went on to confirm that the snake has now been captured and would be relocated to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden in the New Territories.

Thank you to Chris Edwards for sharing these incredible images of the snake with us.
