Actor and humanitarian Jeff Bridges is leading the drive against single-use plastics, one of the greatest and most devastating pollutants on the planet.
He recently featured in a video titled “Open Your Eyes”, produced and released by the Plastic Pollution Coalition, of which he is a member.
The nearly four-minute video illustrates the depth of damage caused by disposable plastics to the planet and all forms of life. It also provides suggestions on how to address the negative impact of plastics on the environment, particularly by disusing disposables.
Plastic Pollution Coalition is a global alliance of individuals, organizations, businesses and policymakers working toward a world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impact on humans, animals, the ocean and the environment.
