One of the hippest, most chilled hangouts in South Lantau, Treasure Island’s beach restaurant, sun terrace and bar opened to the public in summer 2018 and has already become a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike!
Featuring a completely revamped food and beverage menu, the former Mavericks restaurant space at Pui O Beach has rapidly become a popular hotspot for weekend beachgoers, with timeless favourites on offer such as steak, sliders and burgers alongside a range of tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Open every Friday evening, as well as weekends and public holidays*, customers can tuck in while listening to live music and popular DJs playing eclectic sets ranging from Ibiza chill-out tracks to popular dance hits.
What’s more, regular pop-ups in conjunction with other awesome Hong Kong restaurants such as Mapuche and La Cabane a Vin ensure that Pui O’s beach dining scene is always hot and happening.

About Treasure Island Group
A long-standing pillar of the South Lantau community, Treasure Island has been bringing the excitement of the outdoors to Pui O Beach for over 20 years. Founded by Lantau resident Adrienne Ng in 1996, the adventure group originally started out organising holiday camps for kids aged five to 13, in an attempt to resolve the lack of playtime and access to natural spaces for Hong Kong children.
Today, that small beach operation, its name chosen as an homage to the natural treasures of our beautiful corner of Hong Kong, has evolved into TIG, a community-inspired organisation which provides a plethora of services including outdoor education, corporate teambuilding, catering and charity events.
So, if you’re looking for adventure activities with an environmental conscience, look no further than Treasure Island, where you’ll find challenge, inspiration and community all under one roof. Be active, be ACE!
