A hiker has been injured after suffering a 10-metre fall while climbing a waterfall in Lantau on Sunday afternoon.
The man was part of a group of stream climbers who were attempting to climb the Wong Lung Hang (Yellow Dragon) waterfalls. A notoriously challenging hike, the valley derives its name from the dragon-like appearance of the stream and its feeders after heavy rainfall. The man, who did not lose consciousness, was rescued and airlifted to hospital in Tuen Mun where he was treated for his injuries.
