Beginning last week, City Management has stepped up mosquito control and prevention measures with extra pest control work carried out regularly across DB.

Mosquito repellent plants and mosquito sticky traps have also been added to bus stations.

Hong Kong’s unsettled weather has brought concern as mosquitoes thrive in consistently wet conditions.

Daily water clearance on DB’s sidewalks and building rooftops are also being carried out regularly to prevent mosquito proliferation.

The CHP reminds the public to maintain strict environmental hygiene, mosquito control and personal protective measures.
