An apartment in The Greens was damaged yesterday (August 22) after a fire broke out at around 4.30pm.
Multiple emergency vehicles, including the police, ambulance and fire services were deployed to Greenburg Court. It has not been confirmed whether anyone was injured as a result of the fire.
In speaking to Around DB, a representative from Discovery Bay Fire Station has confirmed that the fire was classified as a No. 1 alarm Fire.
The Fire Services Department (FSD) received a call at 5.10pm and arrived at the scene within four minutes. The fire was largely put out after half an hour, with no injuries. The FSD have yet to confirm an initial cause, but see no evidence to suggest suspicion.
