Congratulations to all of the young people who took part in the Team FEAR event at the weekend. Hundreds of kids, aged eight to 18, wholeheartedly threw themselves into the ‘Uncle Russ Coffee Adventure Challenge’, which saw them run, ride, swim, scramble and canoe across DB to raise money for charity.
A gruelling adventure race, the first Team FEAR event took part in 2001 with just 30 participants. Now one of the most anticipated events on the DB calendar, the race attracts hundreds of entrants each year and is supported by over 300 local volunteers.
Team FEAR raises over $HK100,000 each year for Youth Outreach, a local charity that supports homeless and disadvantaged young people in Hong Kong.
