Community Hall talk on DB development: April 2-3

Islands District Councillor Amy Yung recently reached out to the DB community regarding zoning plans in Discovery Bay, as well as proposed developments in Lantau Island.

In a letter dated in March 24, she invited residents to take part in separate discussions on these developments on the afternoons of April 2 and 3 at the DB Community Hall. She writes:

Dear DB residents,

Big changes are coming to Discovery Bay.

Hong Kong Resort Company Limited (HKR) has submitted an application to amend the Discovery Bay Outline Zoning Plan (OZP) to enable development at Area 6f (behind Parkvale Village) and Area 10b (waterfront of Peninsula Village). Meanwhile, the Lantau Development Advisory Committee is currently conducting a public consultation on a grand vision to transform Lantau Island into the Gateway for the Pearl River Delta.

I have invited representatives from the government to conduct separate briefings for DB residents on these plans. Details are as follows:
