Looking to visit Ocean Park with your kids before the Chinese New Year holidays? Ocean Park is offering a special discounted price for Hong Kong residents!
Residents can enjoy a 90% discount with tickets costing just HK$40 for both child and adult admission. Tickets are available for purchase from Wednesday, January 11 (4pm onwards) to Sunday, January 22 on Ocean Park’s website.
One person, holding a valid Hong Kong Identity Card, can purchase up to four tickets which can be used for any one chosen day between Monday, January 16 and Sunday, January 22.
After an overwhelming response on the first day of sales, Ocean Park has now offered an alternative way of purchsing the discounted tickets. From Monday, January 16 to Friday, January 27, local residents can also purchase tickets in person for HK$40 at Ocean Park’s ticketing offices by presenting a valid HKID or HK Birth certificate. These tickets are valid for entry on the date of purchase.
Availability is on a first-come-first serve basis with a daily quota of 4,000 tickets.
The offer comes one month after Ocean Park announced that ticket prices would be increased by 13.8 per cent in 2017, having reported a HK$241.1 million deficit the previous year. Effective January 1, ticket prices were raised to HK$219 from HK$193 for children and HK$438 from HK$385 for adults.
