Dear DB Residents and Owners,
I am deeply grateful to everyone who believed in me and supported me during the election campaign for District Council, and I thank you all for placing your confidence in me for a fifth four-year term.
I could not have succeeded, without the many supporters who guided and assisted me, the many volunteers who turned out on Election Day, and the many voters who went to the polls. Thank you to you all.
I also wish to thank my opponents for helping to raise community awareness. They clearly have a deep love for our wonderful DB, just as I do.
The victory is not mine, it is yours. Without your support there is very little that I can do. I will continue to work on behalf of all DB residents and owners, standing up for a fair DB. I hope that we can all join hands to work together to achieve this dream.
Looking ahead, there are many issues that need our attention. At the start of my term, I will again apply to the developer for an office in DB, so that I can meet more of you on a regular basis. I will also organize a series of Town Hall meetings to listen to your views.
On a separate issue, I am aware that a number of residents could not cast their votes because they had not registered as a voter, or had moved to a new address. You may register or update your details by clicking the following hyperlink:
Thank you again for placing your trust in me. I greatly look forward to working together with all of you to achieve an even brighter future for DB.
