Fast 28/50/100

15 Feb 2019 - 17 Feb 2019
Hong Kong

Join the first edition of this series of trail races in Tuen Mun on the weekend of February 15-17 2019, organised by the Trail Hub. There are a total of three different runs over the weekend. The shortest is the Fast 28, where runners will begin on February 15 at 7pm, and will be capped at 4.5 hours. The race promises to be brisk, with only 400 metres of elevation over the whole course with one full Aid Station and two water stops.

The Fast 50 will begin on February 17 at 8am, and will cover the Route Twisk and the mountain biking trails between Tai Mo Shan and Tai Lam. With an 11-hour cut-off for 50km and 1300m of elevation, this will be another speedy race. It also guarantees to have spectacular views.

The longest race is the Fast 100, the fastest race of this length in Hong Kong, and will begin at February 16 at 8pm. It is the same route at the Fast 50, but also includes more trail from the Route Twisk to Shing Mun, running tracks around the Eagle’s Nest and the whole of the Shing Mun Reservoir. Despite the length there will only be 2800m of elevation, and the organisers warn that there will be more running than hiking.
