Bus door reportedly smashed by passenger as it leaves DB Plaza

Passengers were shocked on Tuesday evening after the front door of the C9 bus was smashed as it left DB Plaza.

The incident happened at around 10pm as the bus was waiting at the temporary traffic lights. According to passengers already on board, the bus had left its bay when a man approached the doors, apparently wanting to board. They then heard a loud noise and the glass in the door smashed.

The man reportedly left the scene and was followed by the bus driver.

It is not yet known whether the man was confronted by security.
