Tired of seeing our beautiful Discovery Bay beaches covered in trash? Join a beach clean-up!

Polluted beaches Discovery Bay

Keeping our beaches clean is a constant battle in Hong Kong, with trash regularly washing up on our shores.

This year has been worse than ever, as massive amounts of waste continue to wash into Hong Kong waters from the Pearl River Delta, leaving the beaches in a terrible state.

Do you want to make a difference? Join Plastic Free Seas and DBGreen's at one of their upcoming beach clean-ups.

Experienced environmental campaigners will be there to guide you through each session and provide gloves, bags and water refills. Remember to wear closed shoes and bring sun protection and a full, re-usable water bottle. The clean-up dates are set for the rest of 2016, so mark your diaries now!
