Vinnie's legacy for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Following the tragic death of her nephew earlier this year, Lantau resident Natasha Ramsey is raising awareness and funds for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September.
Natasha’s nephew Vinnie lost his brave battle with leukaemia in January, aged just 18. Vinnie was initially being treated at Poole Hospital in Dorset, UK but was transferred to a specialist teenage and young adult cancer ward 40 miles away in Southampton.
The distance proved tough on Vinnie's family and his mum eventually had to quit her job and business as a result. Vinnie's dad had to travel every day as well as working and running the house.
Throughout his battle, Vinnie’s dream was to build a teenage cancer unit at Poole Hospital so that other patients and their families would have access to specialist facilities without having to travel.
Vinnie's parents have raised an incredible £20,000 (HK$200,000) to date, but they still need to raise more. To help them reach their goal, Natasha is planning to cut her very long hair into a bob and donate the hair to CancerLink here in Hong Kong to make wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy.
