Magnitude 5.4 earthquake strikes Guangxi province

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Southeastern China an hour ago according to the Hong Kong Observatory.
The HKO Earthquake M6.0+ shares that the Observatory has received reports of locally felt earth tremors in Hong Kong. Tung Chung and South Lantau residents have also turned to social media to report shocks felt from their homes.
The tremors felt in Hong Kong measured intensity 3 on the MMI scale, typically noticed by persons indoors, especially on upper floors of buildings.
The earthquake struck Wuzhou city in the Guangxi province, 340 kilometres northwest of Hong Kong, according to CCTV News.
