Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department petitioned

Hong Kong might not give off the vibe of a marine sanctuary, but people can fight to make it happen.
The AquaMeridian Conservation & Education Foundation has put forth a petition calling for higher marine protection in Hong Kong.
The non-profit organisation devotes efforts toward raising awareness of environmental & conservation issues, particularly in Hong Kong, which was once a renowned fishing port, and is still host to a diverse range of marine life.
Much of the city has been subject to continuous and large-scale rezoning, development and reclamation projects. Environmentalists have decried the unsustainable and ultimately destructive development efforts.
Directed at Hong Kong's Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, the petition calls for ocean lovers to "help China make a difference beginning with Hong Kong."
