DBers oppose a new golf cart parking at DBRC tennis courts

This morning, the DB Tennis Committee organised a protest in DB, opposing the conversion of the tennis courts' green area into a golf cart parking.

Few hundred residents participated in the protest. Everyone gathered outside the Discovery Bay Recreation Club. DB resident Richard Beck spoke for a few minutes and showed the envelope containing over 1000 signatures objecting the change.

The group walked from DBRC, down DDeck, to the ferry pier, walking through the main plaza. After that, they went to the Management Office to deliver the signed petition.

At the Management Office, an HKR representative was waiting outside the entrance door for the group to arrive. Richard handed the envelope containing the signed petition to him.
