The month of March is an ideal time to take the kids to Hong Kong’s signature marine animal theme park.
Ocean Park is offering holders of regularly priced adult admission tickets purchased at 7-Eleven the opportunity to redeem a free child ticket. Any adult tickets purchased at 7-Eleven until March 22 can be used to redeem one children’s admission each until the end of the month.
The Park has also made two sets of graduation packages for kindergarten and primary students available. The Graduation Bash Package and Graduation Lunch Package cater to parties of 60 to 140 people, and include a conservation-themed educational activity photo opportunities with the animals and mascot Whiskers, a stage performance opportunity, and graduation certificates as well as hats, gowns and a graduation banner for photo shoots. A 5R group photo print is given to each student.
The Graduation Lunch package also features an option for a lunch set or buffet, featuring sustainable seafood, vegetarian, low-carbon and organic menu items. It also provides a number of additional complimentary gifts.
On the weekend of March 19 and 20, Ocean Park and Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong (OPCFHK) will celebrate the 21st Ocean Park Conservation Day. The Park will be hosting a number of workshops and educational game booths to promote the importance of biodiversity and green lifestyles.
A highlight of the event is a free Emerald Discovery Tour, a guided tour of the Emerald Trail starring the blue-crowned laughing thrush, a critically endangered bird at the center of OPCFHK conservation efforts. The event will also allow visitors to observe juvenile horseshoe crabs up-close and experience the work of field scientists. Ocean Park will donate the entire admission revenue from Conservation Day (19 March) to OPCFHK in support of wildlife conservation in Asia.
