Flight delay after pilot forgets passport

A pilot reportedly delayed a flight by nearly one and a half hours after forgetting his own passport.

Oriental Daily reported the incident which occurred on Hong Kong Airlines flight from Shanghai to Hong Kong.

The flight was due to leave at 7.55am but did not take off until 9.26am.

Hong Kong Airlines told the Oriental Daily the flight was delayed due to air traffic control and "travel document issues" with individual crew members.

But a business priority boarding passenger said he heard the ground crew discussing that the co-pilot had forgot his travel documents.
