Mystery surrounds the death of a 31-year-old British man, who plunged to his death from a high-rise apartment in Hong Kong.
The South China Morning Post reported Thomas Dudley Nelson, 31, was found unconscious on a slope behind his MacDonnell Road apartment block - just hours after being discharged from hospital.
His girlfriend had alerted security after finding he had disappeared from their 13th floor apartment about 11am. His girlfriend and the security guard then discovered him unconscious behind the apartment block.
The South China Morning Post reported police said Nelson, who recently left a job with a head-hunting company and was due to take up a new job in December, went to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment on Wednesday after he “felt dizzy” following a rugby match.
He was admitted and spent one night in hospital before being discharged Thursday morning.
There appeared to be no suspicious circumstances, police said, adding that no suicide note was found and a search of the apartment uncovered nothing untoward.
CCTV footage apparently showed Nelson going to the 20th floor roof from his 13th floor flat.
Nelson is understood to have lived in Hong Kong for about eight years.
