Forget about Rain Dance!

Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal was issued by the Hong Kong Observatory this morning at 3:35 a.m.
This means that heavy rain is expected to fall throughout the day over Hong Kong, exceeding 30 millimetres an hour.
Flooding and landslides were seen this morning above Upper Cheung Sha Beach (Photo credit: South Lantau resident Alex Gautier).
The HK Observatory recommends Hong Kongers to stay away from poorly drained areas.
In addition to the Amber warning signal, thunderstorm and landslide warning signals were also issued early this morning. Winds could reach up to 70 kilometers an hour.
